Job Description:
Position Overview:
This position performs performance of assigned activities in team; provide required level of expertise in completion of assigned task related to Accounting and Reporting. In addition, to ensure service levels are achieved with set desired expectations from client & management
Essential Job Functions:
Should have a basic understanding of IFRS-15 (Revenue Recognition Measurement)
Should be able to understand/prepare journal entries related to commission/discount accruals
Should have a sound understanding of accrual concept and matching concept.
Prior experience in period closing activities.
Should be able to handle all types of queries from client independently
Education Requirements:
1. CA/CWA with 2-4 yrs of experience or B com / M com with 5 -6 years of experience in General Ledger Accounting, Month close and Reporting function
2. IFRS Certified
3. Knowledge of SAP Preferably
4. Good knowledge of MS Excel (should be proficient in pivot table, if, iferror, vlookup, sumif, concatenate etc.)
5. Should be able to work independently and pro-actively.
6. Experience in Revenue Accounting preferable
